Shipping policy
Buying an art piece is a big investment. You want to make sure it’s the right choice and it’s something that you will enjoy for many years, even several generations, to come! I understand how difficult it might be to buy art online. You might have many questions. Is it good quality? Is it durable? Will the colours be what I expect? Will it be safely shipped? I want to reassure you it is of the outmost importance for me that you are happy with your purchase. Believe me that no one else cares more about preserving the work than me. I put many many hours in each artwork and it took me decades to develop my unique voice as an artist. This is why I will use the most secure method of shipping and always purchase insurance for the work in transit.
I will process your order with care and make everything possible to make sure that your purchase arrives as soon as possible to you. Please note that order processing times are separate from the shipping times you see at checkout and may delay the shipping times. Also note that during the holidays, a higher volume of orders and postal services delays that are outside of my control may further delay your order. Your patience and support for my arts practice is greatly appreciated.
All orders are processed within 5 to 7 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates
For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
Local delivery
Free local delivery is available for orders over $100 within the following postal codes: M4L, M4C, M4E, M4J and M4M. For orders under $100, we charge $5 for local delivery.
Deliveries are made from 10 am to 5 pm on weekends. I will contact you via text message with the phone number you provided at checkout to notify you on the day of our arrival.
International Shipping
We offer international shipping.

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Carolina Reis is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and they are your responsibility as the customer.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 14 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact me at design@carolinareis.com with your name and order number, and I will look into it for you.
Artwork Damaged in Transit
When your artwork is delivered, if you notice any damage to the box, please take a photo of the damage before you open the package and open the box in front of the carrier who delivered it. Photograph any damage to the artwork and email me as soon as possible at art@carolinareis.com. Be sure the carrier documents the damage.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email me as soon as possible at art@carolinareis.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. I will address your case individually and work towards a satisfactory solution.
